Wayne and Ruth Kuhns
Wayne Kuhns serves as the director of Spring of Hope Prayer Counseling Ministries in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania; where he and his wife Ruth are prayer counselors. They are graduates of the Basic and Advanced Elijah House training and have been teaching Elijah House training schools since 2001. Wayne & Ruth serve on the Elder Team at World Harvest Outreach in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Wayne became an ordained Pastor in 1992 and together they have served on Pastoral Leadership teams begining in 1969.
Wayne has a Bachelors' Degree in Pastoral Ministry from International College of Bible Theology and a Master's Degree in Christian Counseling from Midwest Seminary. He has taught extensively on inner healing, the Father's Love and the development of healthy relationships, first with the Heavenly Father and then to love your neighbor as yourself. Wayne has also taught Inner Healing and Father's Love message in Guatemala, Ghana, The Philippines, and China. Wayne is a trained behavioral consultant through the Institute for Motivational Living.
Ruth’s passion is to see people come into an understanding and revelation that God is their healer; and to see them come into wholeness so they can fulfill their God-given purpose and destiny. Wayne and Ruth live in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and are the parents of three adult sons and grandparents of four precious grandchildren.
Bill Sitzai
Bill Sitzai is a Pastoral Counselor who works with adolescents and adults of all ages, doing individual, family, and marriage counseling for males and females. Bill typically works with people who have deep emotional wounds precipitated by trauma or fractured and broken relationships. His kind, sensitive, and compassionate nature help people discover the healing power of the love and acceptance of God. His work has included all types of addiction issues, relationship problems at all levels including: abandonment and adoption issues, sexual and other abuse problems, pre-marital and marriage counseling, anger, depression, and fear issues.
He believes that lives can be changed and that people can be released from bondage to live in acceptance and love and in proper relationships with others that facilitate healing of the hurts and trauma experienced in both the past and present. His experience is that God can reach inside a person and create integration within that individual where there had been continual disintegration. He enjoys and looks forward to working with others to help them experience both help and healing by sharing truths that will transform people in the present and give them tools to build a life and a future.
Bill received his B.A. in Christian Education from International Bible College and Seminary, and his M.A. in Christian Counseling through the Evangelical Order of Certified Pastoral Counselors of America in Toronto, Ontario. He is also a certified teacher of the Elijah House School of Counseling and the National Teen Challenge Programs. His unique specialized training and success has been with people who need inner healing and release from deep, spiritual bondage. Bill has served as a full-time pastor at two churches in Pennsylvania—one of which he pioneered—and has spent 15 of his 25 years as a Christian Counselor in residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs in the United States and Canada. His passion in life is simply to be a people helper.
Rhoda Lehman
Rhoda Lehman is our prayer minister who typically works with children (ages 12 years and younger) and their parents to bring wholeness. She has been a Prayer Minister with Spring of Hope Ministries in Waynesboro, PA since 2002. Her training has been through Elijah House Schools and Advanced Elijah House along with mentoring by Wayne and Ruth Kuhns. She is widely read and has attended workshops that are pertinent to her ministry such as Reactive Attachment Disorder and Play Therapy.
Rhoda is married to Daryl Lehman. Having parented three children, they are now enjoying this chapter of their life with eight grandchildren. Their experience with an adopted daughter has played a big part in her focus of ministry. Her heart is to see children and parents freed to reflect God’s heart of love to the world.
Mid Ebersole
Mid is a graduate of Elijah House School and Advanced Elijah House Training, and counsels with adult women. She loves to see transformation and healing take place in these ladies as they learn to know their true value and can utilize that truth in their daily lives and situations. Along with her training, her life experiences as a daughter, wife, mother and grandmother have given her hands on wisdom.
Mid and her husband Ralph live near Chambersburg, and they are the parents of five adult children.
Effielow Fleagle
Effielow is a graduate of the Elijah House schools and attends World Harvest Outreach church. She counsels children and women of all ages as well as couples.
Effileow and her husband Ron reside in Chambersburg, PA.
