Guest Speaker, Ken Harris

Pastor Ken Harris has been the                                                                            Lead Pastor of New Life Christian Ministries                                        located in Hagerstown, MD for the past 40                                              years. He leads the church through and                                                              teaching and is a lead vocalist with the church                                                  Worship Teams. He has served as a                                                  Missionary in short terms missions in Thailand, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti where he teaches and trains pastors, church and missions' leaders.

After living most of his teenage years on the streets being heavily involved in drugs and alcohol abuse he gave his life to Christ at the age of 22, and Gideon Bibles and The Gideon’s Ministry played a great part in his conversion to Christ and his early discipleship.

 

He and his wife Karla have been married for 47 years, have a daughter and two grandsons, and enjoy vacations on their Harley. Ken is an avid tennis player, musician, and guitar collector.
